The Construction Leadership Council (CLC) is the Emerging Professionals group within the Associated General Contractors of America. The Middle TN CLC was the founding organization of this annual event and is responsible for the governing committee and volunteer work for the annual BBQ in Red Shoes. This group is an active partner of the Ronald McDonald House of Nashville and also provides at least one meal each year to the families staying at the House and hosting a work day each year to complete much needed tasks and minor repairs around the property.
The Associated General Contractors of America is the nation's oldest and largest general construction association. The Tennessee AGC Chapter operates in 4 regions of the state and the Middle Tennessee Region is the hosting region for the BBQ in Red Shoes. AGC Middle Tennessee donates staff time and resources to produce the BBQ in Red Shoes each year. Because of this donation, the BBQ can only exist with the support of local construction company membership dues. Please consider an annual membership to ensure the BBQ in Red Shoes can continue for the next 10 years.
The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Nashville offer a place for parents and family members to relax, refresh and experience the comforts of home while staying close to their sick child.
The House serves families from across the country and around the world. Since opening in 1991, they have served more than 15,400 families from all 95 counties in Tennessee, 66 counties in Kentucky, 41 other states and 14 foreign countries.
